A bi-lingual outdoor Mass will take place in Federal Plaza for the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Unborn. Bishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller will be the Principal Celebrant. Federal Plaza is located at 50 West Adams Street in Chicago. Please dress warmly! See Events Page for Flier.
+ Saturday, January 3 at 5:30 pm: The Archdiocesan Mass for Life
This solemn Mass with Cardinal Francis George will take place at Queen of the Rosary parish in Elk Grove Village. At this Mass, we will pray for the conversion of our nation, and particularly for conversion and healing of all women and men who participated in the abortions of more than 50 million children since the passage of Roe v. Wade on January 22, 1973. Queen of the Rosary is located at 750 W. Elk Grove Blvd in Elk Grove Village. A reception with Cardinal George will follow the event. See Events Page for flier.
+ January 20-24: March for Life Pilgrimages
The Archdiocese offers two pilgrimages to the March for Life in Washington DC: a pilgrimage for teens, and a pilgrimage for college students / young adults. Additional information and registration forms are avaialble on our Events Page--scroll to the bottom. See Events Page for Forms.
+ Wednesday, March 4: Catholics at the Capitol
In this year of Saint Paul, we're called in a special way to bring our Christian values of love into the public square. We're mobilizing people to go to Springfield that day to speak with their state legislators about legislation on life and sexuality issues. More details will be forthcoming. + Saturday, March 28: Annual Gospel of Life Conference
Featuring Cardinal George and Dr. Thomas Hilgers, whose groundbreaking work in Naprotechnology has assisted tens of thousands of infertile couples in conceiving without the use of artificial reproductive technologies.
