 Project Gabriel Minimize

A Good Samaritan approach to helping a woman in crisis pregnancy.

A community rallying to support a woman or family who desires to choose life for an unborn child: this, in essence, is Project Gabriel.

Through Project Gabriel, Parish communities are connected with women or families in need, and serve in many ways to support a crisis pregnancy. The front line of Project Gabriel are the Gabriel Angels, who walk with the woman as she prepares for the birth of her child.

Angels provide support for the mother in need by:

  • Praying for her daily
  • Listening to her concerns
  • Sharing wisdom from life experiences
  • Sponsoring a baby shower

Standing behind the Angels is the Leadership Team. These folks are the logistics team, helping all aspects of the project run smoothly, including collecting donations for needy moms, sponsoring fund raisers, keeping paper work in order, recruiting new volunteers and keeping the Parish Community informed and involved in this vital ministry.

Project Gabriel is the new face of the Pro-Life Movement: compassion in action. To implement this life-saving ministry at your parish, please contact Margie Manczko Breen at the Respect Life Office, 312.534.5355.
